ROLLING STONES Sticky Fingers C0C UK 1st press A3/B4 Andy Warhol ZIP VG+/VG+.
Very decent playable very 1st pressing of the classic Rolling Stones LP “Sticky Fingers”
A3/B4 matrix endings, No “Promotone N.V. RECORD” on the labels, Andy Warhol copyright inside, etc.
The vinyl has a few light marks and scuffs, most noticeably across the track “Sister Morphine”, but certainly nothing deep or nasty. It plays through with a very small amount of light crackle evident in the space between some of the tracks, and a few seconds of light crackle at the start of ‘“I Got The Blues”. It certainly doesn’t even come close to overpowering the music and grades very close to EX across the record as a whole. Side 1 is better again and plays EX with next to no crackle. Nice sound and an enjoyable listen. There are no pops, clicks, sticks jumps and the record is still clear throughout with very little lessening of sound quality. Not perfect but a perfectly good listening experience.
The outer sleeve is EX- with very light age related discolouration (see photos). The zip is fully intact and it’s free from any rips or tears. It moves freely and is free from corrosion. Pretty nice overall, not perfect but one of the better ones I have seen. Spine is intact and legible, no major edge wear or ring wear.
Includes the original insert which grades EX, again discoloured a bit but no folds, tears, etc.
Overall a really nice playable original of this rare 1st pressing!
