Description
This Rolling Stones - Their Satanic Majesties Request LP (TXL 103) on the unboxed Decca light blue label is a rare, highly collectable, first pressing on 150gm vinyl with ARL-8126-1P and ARL-8127-P1 matrix numbers.Stamper numbers are 20 00 and 2D RC.
The disc itself still has a high gloss and a there is small amount of paper scuffing. Apart from a few pops on track 4 side 2 the vinyl is clean and I would grade it as very good. There is minimal spindle marking on the labels and no hole wear.( Please see photographs for a better idea of record quality).
The original UK red smoke paper inner sleeve is in excellent condition.
The first issue Robert Stace laminated holographic blue gatefold sleeve is in near mint condition with minor wear on the bottom edge.
My name and old address are written on the inside of the open edge and are therefore not visible when the gatefold is open.
I bought the album from new and it has been kept upright in a custom built cupboard away from light and damp in virtually dust free conditions since then. It had minimal playings when new and has been unplayed since - apart from the check I carried out recently prior to listing it on Ebay.
All tracks played when checked and the sound quality is excellent for a 43 year old LP.
The LP will be sent in a strong brown LP mailer with stiffener. Additional packaging and tracking will be used for overseas mail.
