THIS IS AN EARLY PRESSING OF THE ROLLING STONES 1967 LP “THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST” ON THE UK DECCA STEREO GREEN LABEL AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN MINT CONDITION! THE COVER IS IN AS CLOSE TO MINT CONDITION AS YOU WILL FIND!! DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is TXS 103 on the ORIGINAL GREEN DECCA label (see picture) and is a stereo UK pressing with matrix numbers ZAL-8126-T2-4K and ZAL-8127-T2-4.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD AND IT HAS HARDLY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO groovewear, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The GATEFOLD cover is as CLOSE TO MINT condition as you will find (see picture)!
It has NO wear to the spine!
There are 3 horizontal VERY LIGHT 0.5cm creases and a 0.5cm light crease from the spine edge of the front cover. There is 3cm LIGHT vertical thumb crease 8.5cm diagonally from the bottom right corner of the front cover. The laminate is PERFECT. The opening edges have NO edge wear! The cardboard is firm and strong. NONE of the surface of the front cover has rubbed away over the years, there is ZERO ringwear, and NO writing.
The inner gatefold is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
The back cover has a LIGHT 4cm diagonal crease in the bottom right corner. Apart from that, it is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.
There is NO discolouration or rubbing to the front or back cover. It looks AS CLOSE TO MINT AS YOU WILL FIND!
THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE UK PRESSING TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! MOST OF THEM WERE PLAYED TO DEATH AND THE COVERS ARE SHABBY. DONT MISS OUT!
For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
