Description

RARE original Stones 1st stereo press "Their Satanic Majesties Request" with the cool 3D Lenticular cover from 1967!
This particular release has the rare label, combining characteristics of London mono and stereo labels. It omits the silver 'Stereophonic' band and has 'Long Playing' instead (like the mono 'LL' issues) although this one is clearly a stereo disk (cover says so too); substitutes 'front side' with 'Side 1' and has at the bottom 'Unauthorized public performance ... prohibited' printed in the perimeter. (see pics)
Comes with original red psychedelic inner sleeve.
This album peaked their psychedelic period and is one of the best real psych albums around!!

  • Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, stamped, variant 2): ZAL 8126-1E Bell Sound

Sleeve: Solid VG  Does have some edge and corner wear. Otherwise, a solid original cover from 1967!
Vinyl: Solid VG   Does have one linear deeper light scratch on side 2 that prevents me from giving it VG+.  Otherwise a great listen and plays great!
