Description
The Rolling Stones---"Through The Past Darkly"---Original UK 1st Pressed Stereo Album In EX/NM Condition On The Blue Unboxed Decca Label---1W and 2W From 1969---With Octagonal Sleeve And Inner In NM Condition
This is a UK copy from 1969 in stereo on the blue unboxed Decca label, cat. no. SKL.5019 with matrices 1W and 2W.
Vinyl: Average EX. The vinyl is in lovely condition with a great shine and no marks. Side 2 is much better than side 1 which has 2 ticks at the start of A1 and a skip just after. I can't see what is causing the skip as there is no mark or scratch. The rest is pretty good with a little surface noise in quiet parts. Side 2 has only some light crackle in quiet parts.
Labels: EX+. Labels are in great condition with no marks. There is light use spindle wear.
Sleeve: NM. The octagonal flipback gatefold sleeve is in very solid condition with a tiny amount of edge and corner wear. Spine is lovely and clear to read and the octagonal inner is also NM. Very rare to find this pair of sleeves in such great condition and are the best part of this set.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
Many thanks for looking at this and our other vinyl to be auctioned.
Please note that all records we sell are listened to in their entirety and are graded generously according to Record Collector guidelines. None of the vinyl has jumps or skips unless advised in the description.
We can send by insured post if required--please check for price.
