Description

Original UK stereo octagonal gatefold LP, release date 1969 on the large-print unboxed Decca label, catalogue number: SKL5019 Matrix nos: side1) XZAL-9067.P-1W side 2) XZAL-9068.P-2W Condition of cover/record: MINT / NEAR MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover is the original laminated octagonal gatefold, and was made by Garrod & Lofthouse. It is perfect, with no: folds or creases, tears, ‘rings’, wear marks to edges, writing, stickers or other blemishes. The front back and inner gatefold are in MINT condition, because I kept it in a plastic cover since it was purchased. The laminate has become unstuck in some areas, but the laminate is complete and intact, not torn or damaged in any way – A FAULTLESS COVER. The spine is in perfect condition, with perfect print. The inner sleeve is the original blue/white octagonal one, and is in perfect condition. The two labels each have approx 6 to 8 light spindle marks. The record plays almost FAULTLESSLY – there are no annoying clicks or pops on the record at all – the only imperfections are very minor – very faint crackles heard on two tracks: she’s a rainbow (8 or 9), ruby Tuesday (4 or 5). THIS IS A TRULY EXCEPTIONAL LP WHICH FULLY DESERVES THE RATING. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection.
