Description
THE ROLLING STONES - THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST
Lovely condition, eminently presentable and increasingly hard to get 1967 UK MONO pressing Stones gem
A solid very good plus (VG+) condition vinyl - completely flat, weighty and retaining an impressive jet black sheen. No scratches or hairlines, just some very light paper scuffs along with the occasional small and equally faint scuff line and wispy hairline on each side (including two small areas of paper scuffing which are slightly more noticeable under a bright light - still strictly surface only and non-feelable) - each purely superficical. Excellent (EX) condition labels : unboxed DECCA with turquoise/light blue background and silver writing, with just a few small and very faint spindle trails on each label. Excellent (EX) condition outside laminated iconic Robert Stace gatefold sleeve with firm unscuffed edges, including a rigid spine with all spine text remaining perfectly intact. There is minimal rubbing on the corners, each of which remains a nicely defined right angle and the beautiful art work, colours and unique front-side holographic/3D band phot all remain beautifully intact. Hard to believe that this gatefold is now 57 years of age! Excellent (EX) mono audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, distortion, interference or background crackle, and the only clicking is two very faint (you will need to listen hard to hear them) clicks at the beginning of "Citadel" for which I can find no obvious cause at all - perhaps a speck of dust caught in the grooves through decades of storage. Crystal clear sound quality throughout with each and every track remaining a great listen - timeless! Comes with original red & white flame/psychedelic inner sleeve with no side splits - just some minor creasing in the corners and a single 2cm tear on the top edge (see photo). Note that I always ship in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. Long deleted and a true rarity - just try finding a 1st press copy of this LP in as impressive condition as this?!
POSTAGE COSTS :
For the UK £4 using Royal Mail tracked 48;
for continental Europe £11 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,
and for the rest of the world £17 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.
I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.
Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 54 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige. There is NO RESERVE on this item. Richard
