On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Rolling Stones called "Through The Past Darkly" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Decca label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE ROLLING STONES RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  THIS LP IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE DECCA LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED BACK IN 1969, NEARLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING WAS MADE IN COMMON STEREO - WITH VIRTUALLY NONE IN MEGA RARE MONO AT ALL!!!!  AND DEMAND FOR MONOs WAS SO ABSOLUTELY TINY, THAT MOST SHOPS DIDNT EVEN STOCK MONOS BY THIS POINT - AND IT WAS ONLY AVAILABLE BY 'SPECIAL ORDER' ONLY!!!!  AS A RESULT, FINDING A UK 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN MEGA RARE MONO IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE - AS BARELY ANY WERE EVER MADE!!!!

IN EARLY 1970 DECCA DECIDED TO CHANGE THEIR LABELS FROM THE 1960s STYLE UNBOXED LABELS - TO THE 'BOXED' DECCA LABELS THAT WERE USED THROUGHOUT THE 1970s.  HOWEVER AT VIRTUALLY THE SAME TIME - THEY ALSO DECIDED TO STOP PRESSING ALL MONO PRESSINGS OF ALL THEIR LPs FOREVER!!!!  AND THIS MEANT THAT ALL THE LPs THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY AVAILABLE IN STEREO & MONO - WERE CHANGED TO BE AVAILABLE IN STEREO ONLY - WITH ALL MONOS BEING DELETED FOREVER!!!!  AND THIS MEANT THAT THIS LP WAS WAS ONLY EVER AVAILABLE ON THIS ULTRA RARE 'BOXED' MONO LABEL FOR 2 OR 3 WEEKS ONLY (RIGHT AT THE VERY END OF THE 1ST PRESS MONO RUN BEFORE DELETION!) - BEFORE ALL MONO 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE STOPPED AND MONOS EVER DELETED FOREVER!!!!  AND DONT CONFUSE THIS LP WITH THE COMMON 'BOXED' STEREO RE-PRESSINGS THAT WERE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE 1970S - BECAUSE AFTER MONOS WERE DELETED THIS WAS HOW ALL COPIES OF THIS LP EVER CAME.  BUT THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE MONO 'BOXED' 1ST PRESSING THAT WAS LITERALLY AVAILABLE FOR 2 OR 3 WEEKS ONLY - AND IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THE ALL TIME RAREST POSSIBLE PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!  AND THE BOXED MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IS EVEN RARER THAN THE BOXED MONO VERSION OF 'LET IT BLEED' - WITH ONLY AROUND 1000-2000 COPIES EVER BEING MADE LIKE THIS!!!!

The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LK 5019 on the RAREST POSSIBLE 'Boxed' MONO 1st Press Decca Label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!  All the tracks are pure quality Rolling Stones at their best!!!! Any fan of The Rolling Stones, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED 2 OR 3 TIMES AT THE VERY MOST!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade MINT(Minus)!!!!  AWESOME RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Red MONO inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL Laminated 'Octagonal' Gatefold Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (STUNNING vertical spine with NO wear AT ALL and PERFECT side words!), barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), NO splits, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is PERFECTLY flat looking!), STUNNING shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, only a thin line of laminate lifting either side of the spinal edge, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in AWESOME condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!!  AWESOME COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
