Here is a very very rare EX/NM to NM- UK copy of the Rolling Stones No 2. their 2nd album with the very rare earliest flipback sleeve, and the uncensored liner notes. Their manager, Andrew Loog Oldham wrote the notes, and included the lines "Cast deep in your pockets for loot to buy this disc. If you don't have bread, see that blind man knock him on the head, steal his wallet and low and behold you have the loot, if you put it in the boot, good, another one sold."
UK Decca got some complaints (understandably) and so they changed the notes, first pasting a revised set over the back covers, then changing the type. It's very rare to find a set of the original notes, and VERY rare to find a flipback sleeve. So here you go. The cover here is EX condition with no problems other than a faint age stain along the left side of the back cover, clearly visible in the photo. The disc is a super clean first pressing, with deep grooves, few signs of play at all, and - 1 Stamper Numbers, indicating it to be one of the very first pressed. You just never find these with the uncensored cover, flipbacks, or a disc this beautiful. RARE!!! < br />Be sure to check my other listings for more very rare records and music memorabilia.
