 This is an ORIGINAL 1964 1st and ONLY SOUTH AFRICA pressing of the ROLLING STONES' classic first Lp called  THE ROLLING STONES and released originally as here on the DECCA label but in this case with BLUE and SILVER labels as opposed to the RED and SILVER labels used for UK pressings. 

This PRESSING also features the rare 1st  Press '2.54 minute' version of 'Tell Me...'as featured on only these very first pressings.

Visually graded under a 100W  light source the THICK HEAVYWEIGHT vinyl retains EXCELLENT glossy sheen - with only a few visible marks, predominantly hairlines with just the odd other more noticeable mark or blemish. 

And overall this is confirmed on playing as there is only some minor surface noise audible in places and quiet parts and between tracks etc.

Both sides have been PLAY GRADED. 

Side 1 is graded - EXCELLENT MINUS

Side 2 is graded - VERY GOOD PLUS


The BLUE and SILVER UNBOXED DECCA  labels are graded EXCELLENT MINUS  - with some minor visible spindle wear.

The thin card FLIPBACK  PICTURE sleeve is graded VERY GOOD PLUS with some edge rubbing including a split to the top which has been taped and a 3cm tear to the opening on the back which has also been taped and some discolouration to the white back overall but the spine remains 100% etc.

The classic first Lp from the ROLLING STONES and this a RARE 1ST PRESS pressing from South Africa and here in overall rare EXCELLENT MINUS condition.
