Description


  • "EMOTIONAL TATTOO"- The highly sought-after 1983 vinyl LP combining "Emotional Rescue" & "Tattoo You" studio recorded out-takes, 
  • sleeved with an Andy Warhol "Mick" cover with E.T. on the back.  

  • 1983 German First Pressing on black vinyl. Very Rare! Limited Pressing.

  • Cover is VG: fully intact, no tears or rips, with some staining at the top & bottom as shown. Please examine pictures for complete condition.

  • Vinyl is VG. Play tested. Some minor surface noise with some pops at the start of track 1 / side A for the first fifty seconds then they stop, 
  • BUT the band's just going over the same four chords in the repetitive, dirge-like rehearsal of "Gangster's Maul", 
  • the weakest track in my opinion. You can listen to five more minutes of the same if you want.

  • The rest of the LP, nine more songs, is pretty great if you love the Stones. Muscular, extended workouts that rock, a few "wannabe" singles with that classic Stones sound, some wiry blues with copious amounts of Keith solos, fills and riffs. Upbeat country rock rhythms, it's all here. Tweak your equalizer / DAW to your hearts content, my stylus reveals a prominent Bill Wyman throughout. One song is mixed with Charlie out front. Overall this collection of "out-takes" is a strong and engaging entry with its own unique set of charms that reveal themselves with repeated listens.
