ROLLING STONES / Sticky fingers -LP- 1st.Dutch Edition with the large PAN zipper -
Andy Warhol zipper cover with large PAN Zipper.
This very first Dutch edition did NOT have the inscription "A Promotone N.V. RECORD" on the label, because the Promotone company was founded only a few months (in September 1971, exactly, in Amsterdam, Netherlands) after the album "Sticky Fingers" was released (April 1971).
The later Dutch version, has a label variation which has STEMRA in a square and "A Promotone N.V. Record" printed at the bottom rim of the labels.
The submission here [see images above] has STEMRA printed in large capital letters and "Made in Holland" printed at the bottom rim of the labels, but at the spine, one can also see the cat.nr. COC 59100, followed by a Ⓑ and "Made in Germany" [see images].
Recorded at Muscle Shoals Studio, Alabama & Olympic Studios, London.
Cover has a real zipper in the front cover. The handle of the zipper has "PAN" engraved into it [see images].
