You are bidding on a Excellent UK 1st pressing of
THE 1967 ROLLING STONES ALBUM
Their Satanic Majesties Request
RELEASED ON THE DECCA RECORD LABEL CAT NUMBER TXL 103
This is an extremely early and rare 1st pressing complete with the earliest darker blue more vibrant 3d mono outer sleeve, & 3D Hologramm outer gatefold sleeve with the TXL 103 text, on later version Decca used a lighter less vibrant pantone blue from the outer sleeve, also has the thicker red cloud inner sleeve.
These early sleeves were produced in very small quantities and it is extremely rare to find them in as fantastic condition as this one!
GRADE OF THE VINYL
The vinyl labels are the silver on blue unboxed decca variety complete with the "LONG PLAYING full frequency range recording text" .

MOTHER STAMPERS 1 c ON SIDE 1 & 1 c ON SIDE 2
both labels have light spindle marks, overall I would grade the labels as very good.
There are just a few very very light non sounding unfeelable hairlines and scuffs on both sides, no doubt caused by removing the record from the inner sleeve, but no feelable scratches, no jumps, no skips, or unsightly marks, the vinyl is in very good plus condition from both a visual and an audio perspective you will not be dissapointed with the quality.

OUTER SLEEVE
As previously stated the album is complete with the original brighter coloured 1st issue 3D gatefold sleeve, the whole sleeve is ultra clean and bright no creases and no laminate splits, all corners are sharp & the spine is 100% solid and readable, the rear of the sleeve is complete with the TXL 103 print, and is in fantastic condition and is free from laminate splits and tares, as is the inner gatefold, the whole sleeve is totally free of any graffiti or marking, this has to be one the best early issue sleeves available today! overall I would grade the sleeve as Excellent Plus to Near Mint

Album is complete with the original thicker Decca Red Cloud Inner sleeve, with solid sides Mint

I use industry standard mailers, with at least two fibre board inserts, in addition the vinyl is placed in a transit sleeve and the whole album is packed and neatly sealed in a pvc sleeve, then sealed in to the mailer, I am yet to recieve a complaint for damaged records due to poor packing and after completing over 800 transactions thats not bad going, check out my feedback i have lots of satisfied customers.
