RON CARTER: PRESTIGE NEW JAZZ Records NJLP-8265 MONO (Mfd in New Jersey in the early 60's) WHERE? - MONO - Original Vinyl Album - This is a Deep Groove, early pressing. The Run Off Groove. has hand etched on it: NJLP-8265-A; there's also something else that looks like it might be a small H and there's a machine stamped VAN GELDER in small letters. The other side has hand etched NJLP-8265-B with machine stamped VAN GELDER in small letters. The Cover is in Fine condition, with very light shelfwear, a bottom Right Corner dent, and some very small tip wear. I had a very difficult time getting the light right in order to get a good picture of it. None of these do it justice. No Ringwear, No Splits, No Writing. No Bends. No stains. The Labels are clean on Both Sides with some spindle wear which you can see in the Pictures. The Vinyl Record has one very light and small, silent "paper scuff". It has its original gloss and looks clean and Almost New. SIDE A: RALLY plays a very nicely at Almost New/New, but there is a very small scratch that's hard to see on BASS DUET. BASS DUET plays VG+ and Better (it has a very small scratch mark that's hard to see, but you can hear it click in the background). SOFTLY plays VG++/Almost New. WHERE? plays VG. YES INDEED plays VG++. SAUCER EYES plays VG++. . I'm trying to accurately grade these Tracks and not overgrade anything; I hope that the Sound Clips will speak for themselves. I can only get to the Post Office once or twice a week, so please be patient. I can email you Overseas Postage rates. I can take PAYPAL (and others). The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. If bidding on this reaches $50, and it ships to a non-US buyer, Registered Mail will be required in addition to First Class Postage, but I'll pay $5.50 of the $13.95 Registered Mail fee. If it sells for over $120. to a non-US Bidder, it will have to ship Air Priority, which will run around $52; I'll have to Insure it for the Full Amount at my expense, and declare Full Value on the Customs Form. If it sells for over $500, it will have to ship EXPRESS MAIL, which will cost around $90.00. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying with some way other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers.
