Rare private issue from the 70's of this bloody rare Ron Geesin vinyl, featured also in the Nurse with wound list of influences!! Geesin is credited as the first artist to start a record company to produce his own recordings. On the back sleeve you can read :"thanks to Pete Townshend for financial backing to make this LP possible". This is the most "creative" period for the artist, who also co-wrote Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother and collaborated with Roger Waters in the "Music from the Body" project. Geesin was also a magnificent instrument and installation builder. His "Tune tube" is a massive interactive walk-through tube in sound and light played from the inside by individuals' body-mouvements. He also designed and installed the "Tri-Aura"(interactive textile triptych) at the British Science Museum.
In this album he uses electronic whistling, electronics, voices, field recordings, counter-tenor, cello, bassoon, electronically processed banjos, simulated gospel choir, cymbal, 83 electronic bagpipers, electronically processed pianos, acoustic guitar, tape delay system, electronically processed organs and many many more!!
Cover in ex- condition, while the vinyl lies in vg+ condition with some scratches!! Impossible to find a copy today...get this NOW!!
