Vinyl: Both records are near mint. No sign of wear on visual inspection. They both play wonderfully with no sticking, skipping or jumping.
Cover and sleeve: near mint. No obvious damage or wear to any part of the cover or sleeve other than a few minor nicks on the edges and spine. A superb example.

This particular gatefold release was signed by the composer. Clearly visible in blue felt tip pen on the cover, this autograph makes this double gatefold LP a highly collectible item for fans of this major British composer of film and TV music.

In his 60 years in the music business RON GOODWIN composed, arranged, orchestrated and conducted music in all fields of the profession. In his early years he arranged for all the leading orchestras of the day and arranged and conducted recording sessions for top vocal artists.
He then recorded under his own name RON GOODWIN AND HIS CONCERT ORCHESTRA and became a top-selling artist in his own right. His first film score was WHIRLPOOL in 1958 and during his lifetime he scored over 60 feature films in a career lasting over fifty years. His most famous works included Where Eagles Dare, Battle of Britain, 633 Squadron and Operation Crossbow.
Ron also, for over 30 years, conducted and presented his own brand of popular music concerts all over the world. These unique concerts, always played to enthusiastic audiences, were a mixture of film and popular music from the vast library that he had built up of film themes and arrangements of popular music covering the last 50 years.
