PHILLES RECORDS 128 (promo pressing of US single w/full color picture sleeve)
Nice copy of what some think is the Ronettes' best single. This super-strong Carole King/Gerry Goffin/Phil Spector song is certainly the girls' most emotionally mature and complex song, and it rivals Brian Wilson's "Pet Sounds" era writing in its musical ingenuity.
Here's a direct-from-disc treat: the Spector-penned, seldom-heard flip side, "Oh, I Love You..."
CONDITION:
PICTURE SLEEVE: Sleeve lip is wrinkled on both sides, but all paper is intact. All seams intact and unbroken. Some light ringwear and rubwear to center of sleeve on both sides. Colors are still vivid. White background has light age discoloration. Some wrinkles, stress lines and creases to glossy sleeve paper. Overall, it's a solid VG+.
VINYL: Label has "S" written on the A side. Labels are otherwise generally clean. Disc needs a good cleaning to remove a lot of storage dust. This will boost its sound quality and condition considerably. As is, with its solid, clear sound, the record rates an EX+.
