Amazing M- condition RARE original UK Sire issue from 1980 of one of the BEST EVER UK powerpop tunes of all time. Has been comped on "Powerpearls vol. 3", "Teenage Treats vol. 7", "Shake Some Action vol. 5" and "Metrojets vol. 1". Ronnie Mayor was earlier in The Tours (of "Language School" and "Tourist Information" fame), and the material on this 7" which he released as Da Biz is equally fantastic. Have a listen below! Top notch flipside as well. Seldom turns up in this beautiful condition!
By the way, just to set this straight: "On The Beach" was released twice, first on this 7" from September 1980 and then again one entire year later in September 1981 slightly re-mixed on the DO IT label credited to Ronnie Mayor with the different title "Can't Wait 'Til The Summer Comes". For some reason people keep believing that the DO IT release came first. It didn't.
