RONNY AND THE DAYTONAS *G.T.O.* 1964 MONO Release On Mala-4001 VG+ Condition! One Owner!
THIS RELEASE CONTAINS THE TITLE TRACK PLUS 11 OTHER SELECTIONS. SEE LAST FRAME OF PHOTO GALLERY FOR COMPLETE TRACK LISTING.
ALBUM COVER: VG+ (No Shrinkwrap). Modest ring/shelf wear mostly confined to the bottom edge front of the cover. There is a very minor ding on each of the corners and some light scuffing on the bottom edge and also on the spine side edge. A few rough spots on the top edge as well. No top, bottom or side splits, and no peeling about the paste on. No graffiti or other damage to disclose. Spine is in nice overall shape, no cracks. The lettering is less than perfect but not too bad. Overall, cover is in pretty nice shape for a 64' model. Not perfect, but much nicer than acceptable.
INNER SLEEVE: VG to VG+. Original plain vanilla paper inner sleeve (no label hole) is in very much acceptable shape, with one small side split and no bottom split. Minor original owner graffiti in the form of G.T.O written near the top of the mouth edge (see photo). Sleeve is slightly yellowed with age (not nicotine) and has a few minor bends and creases on each of the corners.
VINYL: VG+ to NM Cosmetically. A small minor scratch and a minor scuff on side one. Side two is virtually scratch free. There is very little noticeable playback wear. This album was played sparingly on older less efficient equipment, but it was handled and played with care. There is hardly any negative affect on the overall sound quality during playback due to the minor flaws already mentioned.
LABELS: NM. Both labels are beautiful. Very clean. There is very light visible spindle wear and a few light spindle trails on both sides. No scratches, tears or graffiti. Super nice overall!

THIS RECORD WAS GRADED AUDIBLY 'LOUD' IN MONO MODE, SO THAT ANY AND ALL NOISE POLLUTION COULD BE HEARD AND NOTED. NO HEADPHONES GRADING!
SIDE ONE
Light noise at entro, between tracks and in the trail off area. No popping, clicking, annoying or distracting noise present anywhere during track play. Side plays through nicely with very clean and great overall sound. I gave side one a grade of "A-" audibly. Sounds really nice, just not perfect.
SIDE TWO
Light noise at entro, very light noise between tracks and moderate noise in the trail off area. Side plays through nicely, with very decent sound for an off label mono pressing. Title track "G.T.O." sounds awesome. I gave side two an "A-" grade audibly also. There are two or three scattered light pops here and there, but nothing to warrant any downgrade. I am very strict in audible gradings.
SUMMARY: Cosmetically, this record is overall about an 8 or 8 1/2 (a "0" is scrap) vinyl could be graded slightly higher and its highly collectible. Sounds about as clean as any 64' model used album can be. This album is absolutely clean enough for re-recording to another medium. Toe-tapping pleasant listening, great surf/car/rock and roll tunes and only scant noise concerns on a couple of tracks. The description and audible gradings are honest and as thorough as possible. I loved grading this album, and it sounds very nice. A very worthwhile investment for the listed price.
