Rory Gallagher – Irish Tour '74 (2 x LPs)Rory Gallagher (2 March 1948 - 14 June 1995) was an Irish blues/rock guitarist, born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, part of the Province of Ulster. However, he grew up in Cork City in the south of Ireland. He is best known for his solo work, releasing several albums, and for his tenure in Taste during the late 60s. Irish Tour ‘74 is a live blues oriented rock double-album released in 1974 and features Rory Gallagher (vocals, guitar and harmonica); Gerry McAvoy (bass); Lou Martin (keyboards) and Rod de’Ath (drums and percussion).
This is a great original UK copy of Rory Gallagher’s Irish Tour album released on the Polydor label in 1974. Nice vinyl with great audio throughout. See condition details below.

Released in 1974. UK pressing. Stereo.

Vinyl side 1: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no sticks, skips or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no sticks, skips or clicks and minimal crackle).

Cover (unlaminated, gatefold): very good (ring wear, a few small light creases mainly around the edges, light wear at opening edge).

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
