Description

This vinyl LP was issued in 1990 by Capo Records and was one of the great Irishman's last releases. It has ten tracks and is a gatefold sleeve in excellent unplayed condition. It is genuinely HAND SIGNED TWICE BY GALLAGHER....ONCE ON THE FRONT IN RED BIRO BUT THIS FAILED TO IMPRINT PROPERLY AND AGAIN ON THE INSIDE SLEEVE. In the 1990's I worked as a producer for a large Manchester TV station and booked Rory to do a slot with us before he took part in a concert that same evening. He signed some items for me in our dressing room. I have already sold a page from an autograph album but this is my last signed item. In the gatefold sleeve he has written, "Rory Gallagher - Many thanks" in blue felt marker...This was his thanks for being booked by me. The front states, "Best wishes Rory Gallagher..." Unfortunately the red biro ink could not sustain on the "greasy" plastic cover after "Best Wishes" so he signed inside with a different blue pen instead. However the imprint of his name on the front can be clearly seen when held to the light.YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER EXAMPLE ON EBAY OF A FLAT SIGNED GALLAGHER ITEM. HIS SIGNATURE IS BECOMING EVER MORE SOUGHT AFTER SINCE HIS UNTIMELY DEATH JUST THREE YEARS AFTER THIS ALBUM WAS ISSUED...AND JUST ONE YEAR AFTER IT WAS SIGNED.FULL COA IF REQUIRED BUT WE DO NOT SELL FAKES. Sensible start bid price and no reserve.Would make a superb Christmas gift for the guitar/blues/rock/Rory fan in your life.
