RORY STORM & THE HURRICANES  :  I Can Tell. FARON'S FLAMINGOS  :  Let's Stomp. US COLUMBIA 4-43018.   RADIO STATION PROMO COPY.     RARE!!   1964 issue. Company Sleeve. Label says :  "From the LP The Exciting New Live Liverpool Sound".      Very unusually, there is a spoken introduction about the 'Liverpool Sound',which refers to the clubs where the bands perform, including The Cavern, The Jive Dive, The Iron Door, etc. This was for US Radio broadcasting use.  USA ONLY RELEASE. 'I Can Tell' is the Bo Diddley number, whilst 'Let's Stomp' is like 'Mashed Potatoes' - lively and uptempo performances used as part of the 'English Invasion' to the USA music scene.  Historic stuff !  An essential item for Merseybeat and 1960s beat group collectors anywhere.
Record : EX   A Rare Liverpool 1960s Beat Group item.    X on one label, does not detract from printed info.

GRADING :   EX : Some signs of having been played but very little lessening in sound quality.                       VG : Has obviously been played many times but no major lessening in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks                                 and occasional light scratch, scuff or minor surface lines.  Plays well.                          G : Well played, so that sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some distortion and mild scratches or scuffs.                          G -  :Displays wear and surface noise but no jumps.
