Tape speed is usually 15ips but we also sell recordings at 7.5ips, 3.75ips and occasionally 30ips.
Every tape has been checked for quality. Most of the tapes are in near perfect condition but If there's a problem, we'll tell you. You won't have to "guess" about what you are getting. Our goal is for YOU to be happy with your purchase. If we make a mistake there's no need to get angry. TELL US ABOUT IT. If it's humanly possible, we will fix the problem to YOUR satisfaction!

If you follow our auctions you know that from time to time we dig up tapes that have been buried in stacks on our shelves. We did a little hunting around last week and came up with a whole bunch of interesting tapes! This is one of them.

1/4", 1/2 TRACK STEREO DEMO MASTER TAPE OF ROSALIE SORRELS' SONG
"APPLE OF MY EYE"
This is a fabulous tape with GREAT sound and a wonderful performance by Rosalie Sorrels. The song is taken from her, "Always A Lady" album, which was released in 1975.
Rosalie Sorrels was a long established figure on the national folk singer-song writer scene. She was well known for her story telling. In its announcement of her death, the Idaho Statesman proclaimed, "The legendary folksinger also was known for her ability to spin a yarn and hold an audience in the palm of her hand. Rosalie recorded more than 20 albums including the 2005 Grammy nominated album "My Last Go 'Round" (Best Traditional Folk Album.)
Recorded on Scotch 206 coated tape in the NAB format with no noise reduction. NO Sticky shed! Comes on the 5" reel and original box shown in the pictures.
In keeping with best studio practices, all tapes are shipped tails out. They need to be rewound BEFORE playing!

This will be WELL PACKAGED and shipped via Media Mail in the U. S. & via First Class Mail International to other countries, unless the winner wants it shipped by another method. Most orders shipped within hours of receipt of cleared funds but WE DO NOT ship on Saturday.
