These are the vinyl grading guidelines for our Records

Vinyl Grade   MINT  Perfect : This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer, with NO flaws what so ever. It looks as though it has never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains.   NEAR MINT   : This record appears virtually flawless , very minor scuffs and very little else can appear on the vinyl. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw is very hard to see.   EXCELLENT  : Minor scuffs which are only slightly visible. It should play without any noise over the flaw.
VERY GOOD  : Record shows wear, surface scuffs. The vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause some surface noise.

Good : The record shows slightly more wear than V Good. The flaws will cause slight surface noise, but not as much as an Average Graded record. The vinyl will  be slightly duller than v good.
AVERAGE: The vinyl shows considerably more wear and is dull to the eye. The flaws will cause crackling, noise and hiss.   POOR: The record is scratched and will cause problems when playing. Buyers will buy this record more for the sleeve/cover than for the actual record itself.     Sleeve/Inner Grade (The vinyl record is not considered when grading the sleeve)   MINT COVER - No stickers address labels or writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits. No wear to the cover.   NEAR MINT  - The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age.   EXCELLENT - Artwork is still as close to perfect as can be. Some impression to the cover  but no ink wear. Some slight creases to the corners, but not wrinkling.   VERY GOOD  - The artwork looks clean with  more aging. The back of the cover usually gives away the age of the cover.  White paper will be somewhat yellow yet no stains or mildew from water damage. Some minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through. There will be some creasing, corner wear, cracking, but no tears. There will be multiple surface impressions.
AVERAGE - The cover is aged with creases or cracks and/or some ink wear. There will be extensive creasing but no more than 1 small tear.   POOR - Sleeve has ink wear or heavy creases, dents or tears/splits. Inner will be yellow and with stains and may have heavy spine damage.
