Description

VERY rare and collectible 33rpm 12inch LP as follows:

CHRISTMAS SEAL SALE 1955

(comes in plain white inner sleeve)

One side is Rosemary Clooney/Jose Ferrer and the other side is Frankie Laine

ROSEMARY CLOONEY/Jose Ferrer with announcer Johnny Jacobs and accompanist BUDDY COLE

Rose opens with a few lines from a different version of 'TENDERLY'

Then sings "ANYTHING GOES" with Buddy Cole musical accompaniment

....some talk about her writer, director, actor, producer husband, at which point she introduces JOSE FERRER

Ferrer sings his "March Of The Christmas Toys" (it's the playing of his recording of this song on Columbia Records)

Rose then sings "THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS"

She then makes a plea for the listeners to fight Tuberculosis by buying Christmas Seals

Rose then sings "SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN".

Rose the sings "WHITE CHRISTMAS"

...she talk again about fighting Tuberculosis and urges people to buy and use Christmas Seals

the close is a few more lines from a different version of "Tenderly"....
