Long-time music loving vinyl/memorabilia hound here. Grading is very strict & satisfaction is guaranteed, bid/buy with confidence. Something New Something Cool LP - ROSEMARY DeHART and her RIGADONS (Damon D-12704)

Original 1967 U.S. DEMO-only MONO LP. Here's a previously unknown, way-under-the-radar local obscurity from this neck of the woods. Recorded at the legendary Damon Studios in Kansas City, 17-year old vocalist Ms DeHART fronts her big band/swing outfit, performing uptempo swinging versions of "Taste Of Honey" & "Call Me." Also features a few instro winners, including the r&b mover, "Frog Hop Shuffle," in honor of a locally famous ballroom in St. Joseph, MO, where ROSEMARY made her debut in '65.

Dunno how many copies of this were pressed, but undoubtedly very few - my guess would be 50 or 100, tops; this is the first copy I've ever had/seen in 4+ decades of digging locally, I know of no others. And dig ROSEMARY looking extremely MOD on the front cover pic, balancing a Diplomat 12" w/ her hands - could it be the elusive Beat Buddies LP??

Disc = EX (HIGH GLOSS - downgraded due to a soft scuff mark in track 2 on B-side which causes a lite background tick for approx 6 revolutions; otherwise, only a couple of thin hairlines, would grade at least EX+ w/o the scuff; plays GREAT, w/ virtually NO background noise to speak of; a TERRIFIC listen)

Cover = see pix; some ring/rub/general wear on front & back; some wear along top edge & on top seam; 5 1/2" (14.2 cm) thin split from right corner on bottom seam;  small crack/chip on spine; a FINE looking cover; any questions?, please ask
