Description
PLEASE LISTEN TO THE ACTUAL RECORD BELOW UNEDITED. OPENS IN NEW WINDOW, PRESS PLAY. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR SOUND ON.
A-Side - Phil Phillips And The Twilights - Sea Of Love. Originally issued 1959.
B-Side - Rosie And The Imperials - Angel Baby. Originally issued 1960. (May not have been originally issued as a 78)10" vinyl single (not shellac). Double sided hit. Jukebox title strips for both sides included.
This is one of a set of 25 x 10", 78 rpm singles released in 1989 by Rhino Records on the Jukebox Classic label in limited numbers. They are vinyl and not shellac and were intended primarily for jukebox owners but play perfectly well on a standard turntable so long as it plays at 78 rpm. Just like the Old Gold 45 rpm releases, many have different artists on each side. Also, many have releases on that were originally from the 1960s and were never released as a 10". I shall be listing 12 singles over the next few months.
Plays well both sides, very good+ condition. Nice shiny copy with original gloss. The sleeve is in excellent condition.

Grading - These are my records and are 30 years old. I listen to both sides before listing and try not to overgrade them in order to avoid disappointing a buyer. I am grading them on sound quality and urge you to listen to the video above. The video above is recorded on a Pioneer DJ PLX-500 turntable.. I will take the record back if you are unhappy with the grading but at buyer's postage cost so please listen before buying. No record will be listed that jumps or skips.
The most common grades will be:
Excellent - Showing signs of being played but apart from very minor scuffs or scratches, nothing that affects play. Still shiny but without the lustre of a mint record
Very good - Surface will show signs of wear (scuffs or scratches). Surface noise may be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music. Groove wear will start to be noticeable but not intrusive.
Good - Record can be played through without skipping but will have surface noise, scratches, and groove wear.
Postage - I do not make a penny on postage. The record mailer (see last image above) costs £1.28, postage with insurance up to £50 is £4.45 and Ebay charge approx. £1. I can combine up to 3 x 78s in a box with appropriate postage savings. If you want combined shipping PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE to avoid unnecessary Ebay charges which I cannot recover once you have paid.
