Condizioni : la copertina, apribile e laminata su entrambi i lati esterni, mostra leggeri sollevamenti della pellicola lungo il bordo del lato frontale sinistro; grande stato, NEAR MINT - La busta interna con le liriche delle canzoni presenta alcune chiazze giallastre su entrambi i bordi del lato superiore, si osservi per cortesia le scansioni n° 5 e 6, VG++ / il vinile appare come nuovo o poco meno e il suo ascolto è impeccabile, MINT-

Condition : gatefold cover is laminated on both outer sides and shows some slight lifting along the edge of the left front side, NEAR MINT - The inner sleeve with the lyrics of the songs has some yellowish stains on both edges of the top, please observe the scans No. 5 and No. 6, VG++ / vinyl looks as new or little less and its listening is perfect, MINT-

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : affascinante album ricco di bella musica rock principalmente composta da Ross Wilson, proprietario dell’etichetta OZ Records. Questo musicista, cantautore e chitarrista Australiano, chiamò a collaborare altri validi musicisti con cui aveva stretti legami professionali come Gary Young batterista fra l’altro dei Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons, ottimo gruppo rock Australiano presente nell’album in diverse tracce. Un solo brano strumentale (b6) con sibili di vento ed altri effetti sonori poi canzoni rock a tutto gas. Fra queste: "Beating around The Bush" (a3) inizialmente con reminiscenze di buon vecchio rock’n’roll e successivamente con belle sonorità blues sottolineate da un dotato chitarrista. Viene interpretata da Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons. L'attrice Joy Dunstan canta con buona impostazione timbrica la blueseggiante "Warm Tender Love" (a4) basata su un andamento rock moderato, "You’re Driving Insane" (a5) è sorprendente per il suo esplosivo ritmo hard rock a tratti quasi metal. "Greaseball" (b1) cantata da Ross Wilson ha una ritmica sfrenata con buone dosi di suono punk. Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons interpretano "Glad I’m living here" (b2) eccellente blues rock. A dire il vero tutte gli altri brani sarebbero degni di essere menzionati ma qui mi fermo.

Notes : stunning album full of beautiful rock music mainly composed by Ross Wilson, owner of the label OZ Records. This Australian musician, singer songwriter and guitarist asked the collaboration of other excellent musicians with whom he had close professional ties such as Gary Young, inter alia, drummer of Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons, great Australian rock band present in the album with different tracks. Just one instrumental track (b6) with wind hisses and other sound effects but then rock songs at full throttle. Among them: "Beating Around The Bush" (a3) initially with reminiscences of good old rock'n'roll and later with beautiful blues sonorities highlighted by a gifted guitarist. It is performed by Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons. The actress Joy Dunstan sings with good timbre the bluesy "Warm Tender Love" (a4) based on a moderate rock, "You're Driving Insane" (a5) is amazing for its explosive hard rock rhythm at times almost heavy metal. "Greaseball" (b1) sung by Ross Wilson has an unbridled development with good doses of punk. Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons perform "Glad I'm living here" (b2) excellent blues rock. To tell the truth all the other songs would be worthy of being mentioned but here I stop.
