This box set is the definitive anthology of a rock icon carving his own path beyond the rock band he is most known for. David Lee Roth, front man of the legendary band Van Halen, proved he could command stages and charts on his own terms. This compilation proves that and then some. The journey begins with Crazy from the Heat, his solo debut that showed Roth's flamboyant personality through playful covers like 'California Girls' and 'Just a Gigolo/I Ain't Got Nobody', both of which stormed the Billboard Hot 100. He doubled down with Eat 'Em and Smile the year after, a hard rock masterclass powered by Steve Vai's guitar heroics and Billy Sheehan's thunderous bass. Fueled by 'Yankee Rose', it showed David was not a one trick artist. In 1988, Skyscraper brought a more polished, adventurous edge, landing him another hit with 'Just Like Paradise'. The 90s saw Roth adapt, with A Little Ain't Enough, followed by the Nile Rodgers-produced Your Filthy Little Mouth', which pushed his sound into funkier, genre-blurring territory. Together, these records tell the story of one of the most colorful lead singers of a generation.
