Without Brian Eno, Roxy Music immediately became less experimental, yet remained adventurous, as Stranded illustrates.
Under the direction of Bryan Ferry, Roxy moved toward relatively straightforward territory, adding greater layers of piano and heavy guitars. Even without the washes of Eno's synthesisers, Roxy's music remains unsettling on occasion, yet in this new incarnation, they favour more measured material, whether it's the reflective "A Song for Europe" or the shifting textures of "Psalm."
Even the rockers, such as the surging "Street Life" and the segmented "Mother of Pearl," are distinguished by subtle songwriting that emphasises both Ferry's tortured glamour and Roxy's increasingly impressive grasp of sonic detail

Clean, unmarked labels which carry just a couple of spindle traces per side

Both surfaces shine like new and even under bright light there is barely a mark to be seen
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Plays like new throughout with superb sound quality and practically nothing to fault.
No clicks or pops and exceptionally clean on the quieter passages.
Just an occasional static tick noted (absolutely nothing really) but I did not clean this copy as it looks so immaculate so these will no doubt disappear after a clean/few spins
