VERY SCARCE 1974 UK 7" EP

Nondo Records # DP EP 001

COMES WITH HAND WRITTEN TITLE SLEEVE (my guess its from the time & label done),ITS A BIT TATTY,AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PIC (mainly due to the tape marks on each side),BUT PRETTY UNLIKELY MANY OF THESE WOULD'VE BEEN DONE.

DISC IS IN A SOLID EXCELLENT  CONDITION.

From early 1973 to summer 1974 Roy Ashbury and Oliver Senior ran the Experimental Music Group at Wolverhampton Polytechnic.  Events included regular workshops, occasional luchtime sessions (sometimes riotously) in the Students Union bar, and two mini festivals of improvised music, which featured the likes of  John Stevens, Trevor Watts, Derek Bailey and other well known improvisers, part of whose performances appear on other Nondo recordings.   Roy went on to work with trumpeter William Embling and Barry Leigh in Crystal Palace (featured  on Nondo DPLP004), Howard Riley, guitarist John Russell, tenor saxophonists Gary Todd and Larry Stabbins, as well legendary alto saxophonist John Tchicai.
