Description
Original U.S. pressing on Polydor. A certified Jazz-Funk classic.
Tracks: (Side 1) Pretty Brown Skin; Rain Drops Keep Fallin' On My Head, I Can't Help Myself; Love; (Side 2) The Fuzz; Hummin'; Can You Dig It?; Painted Desert.
Players: Roy Ayers (Vibes, Vocals), Harry Whitaker (Electric Piano), Richie Resnicoff (Guitar), John Williams (Electric Bass), Alphonzo Mouson (Drums), Jumma Santos (Conga), Edwin Birdsong (Organ, Vocals).
Condition:
- Vinyl is VG++
- Cover is VG++ with minor ring wear.
My grading scale:
- NM / VG++ / VG+ / VG / VG-
Grading explained:
- NM = No marks at all and plays perfectly with no noises.
- VG++ = Only a few very light marks or paper scuffs that do not affect play.
- VG+ = Moderate marks that cause crackle and general noise.
- VG = Heavy marks that cause clicks and pops.
- VG- = Deep scratches, loud pops, clicks, and very noisy; possibly skips.
Cover:
- NM = Almost perfect. Looks like it was just unsealed.
- VG++ = Very light wear only seen upon close inspection; punch hole.
- VG+ = Moderate ring wear, edge wear, small seam splits (if indicated).
- VG = Heavy ring wear, large seam splits.
- VG- = Heavy water damage, total seam splitting.
