ROY BUDD - " CARTER (Get Carter Theme) / PLAYTHING ", Pye Records (7N 45051) 1971.
Very rare original, first pressing UK single of Roy Budd's brilliant theme from Get Carter.
NOTE: this record has been professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine.
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT (Under my grading lamp I can see a few faint paper-scuffs and very superficial marks on the vinyl's surface but they do not translate to any kind of noise or interuptions on playback. In fact this record still plays clear, loud and strong... not overplayed or distorted and the only thing I have marked it down slightly for is some very faint surface noise during the silent run-in which disappears when the music starts.
SLEEVE = FAIR (Sadly this record's sleeve does not live up to the standards set by the record itself. It is very worn, grubby, stained and splitting. I know this will of course devalue this record somewhat, but it won't affect playback - see photos provided for the most accurate info on this sleeve's condition)
