LP : Roy Budd – Soundtrack : Get Carter
In 1971 the original soundtrack recording was released exlusively in Japan and in no other countries. At the moment of this writing I see an original copy offered on eBay for 2.000 US $, the last copy on eBay was sold for 1.500 US $. This is the first reissue of the ultra rare original soundtrack, pressed in the UK in 1998, made by cinephile, CIN LP 001. Beautiful gatefold-cover with liner-notes and photos inside. Nice label design, too. Contains music & scenes from the movie. Dope jazz-funk, rare-groove plus early 70ies psychedelic jazz with Fender Rhodes & tablas and more. A true classic, highly recommended ! You can listen to the complete soundtrack on youtube. I offer the soundtrack for another Michael Caine movie in my current auctions: „DEADFALL“.

Condition: the record looks mint- to mint-- in daylight & in normal artificial light, it looks ex under a very strong halogen lamp ( a few superficial only traces). It plays in mint- all of the time. The gatefold-cover is in mint-.

Zustand: die LP sieht bei Tageslicht & unter einer normalen Lampe mint- bis mint-- aus, unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe sieht sie mint-- bis ex aus ( ein paar oberflächliche Spuren ). Sie spielt durchgehend in mint- . Das Klapp-Cover ist top, mint-. alle Platten habe ich professionell gereinigt und angehört (meist ganz, manchmal in Ausschnitten). Kommen mit neuer Außen- & Innenhülle !

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

• cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve
