Description

ROY HAYNES: Little Leona, Gone Again, Miss Mopsy, and Hagnes (EmArcy LP MG-26048). Classic Hard Bop from living legend ROY HAYNES, on this rare, original EmArcy LP, 1954. This was Haynes' FIRST ALBUM as a leader. Ensemble also includes Sahib Shihab, Bjarne Nerem, Ake Persson, Adrian Acia, and Joe Benjamin. Recorded in Sweden, while Haynes was on tour, US issue. E condition: LP plays beautifully, with only very slightest surface wear, album is in excellent shape, with no splits or tares, slight mold residue on top (see photos), otherwise amazing shape for such a rare LP.
