ROY LANHAM's "The Most Exciting Guitar" released on DOLTON RECORDS (BST-8009) in STEREO with no date on the album but definitely early 60's vintage (Scan 2 shows unusual blue-green labels), features the "dapper", hot-shot guitarist on originals and covers. EARL PALMER is on DRUMS with RED WHOOTTEN on BASS. The special Liberty (parent company) inner sleeve is of the early 60's era with the "Walk Don't Run" Ventures album among the LPs shown. It is VG+ with a 3" split on bottom and one side but otherwise intact and clean. He's one trickster on the strings, and somewhat overlooked, with neither this LP or "The Fabulous" on Sims (which I'm also selling a NM+ copy at concurrent auction - See Below) even making the price guides.

The LP is in NEAR MINT PLUS condition, and appears that each side has been played once with 1 visible spindle mark on each label, and not a mark or scratch on the clean, nice gloss vinyl. On playing it is absolutely clean, like a first play. A true beauty!

The Cover is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition, with all seams fully intact but having 2 3" pieces of tape on the middles of the top and bottom (cover partial splits), 3 corners sharp and 1 with slight wrinkles, and the front and back showing medium light wear, including some price tag residue seen on front and a bit of ringwear on the bottom front..
