This is a very rare ROY ORBISON COMPLETE REPRO SET OF ALL OF HIS 58 SCANDINAVIAN LONDON SINGLE SLEEVES.
YES, All the London singles of Roy Orbison released in England were imported in the Scandinavian countries and released there with their own Scandinavian picture sleeve. Some even had 3 or 4 different sleeves on second or third pressing rounds. And they are all here !!
All the sleeves, beautifully restored and reprinted by laser printer. These Scandinavian sleeves all had a picture up front and a white back with a colored edge around it, the color edge of the back corresponding with the main color of the front sleeve.
I must admit: 3 sleeves were missing and no one from Scandinavia could tell me whether there were in fact issues of those records over there.
So I used my imagination there. After all nothing beats a complete set. Watch the third issue: I'm Hurting/I can't stop loving you , it could have looked like that if it was issued over there. Same with number 7: The crowd/mama.
And then there was the last but one: God love you/changes, that too is a fiction of my imagination.
But all you Orbison collectors out there: This set could also easily be put around the British issues, they all came without picture sleeves and these ones really look beautiful, don't they?
All sleeves have been restored in Photoshop, to make them look brand new ones!
And to set the record straight: SLEEVES ONLY: NO RECORDS !!
But boy, don't they look beautiful?
