Description
SUPER SCARCE 1965 ROY ORBISON 12" RADIO SPOTS FOR COCA COLA - HE SINGS THE JINGLE FOR COKE.
The label is headed: "things go better with Coke", and has the "Drink Coca-Cola" logo, with "THE COCA-COLA COMPANY. TX-97. ROY ORBISON SWINGS THE JINGLE. For Use As Complete Announcement Or With Live Copy". At bottom is: "Prepared by McCANN-ERICKSON, INC.", with their NYC home office address (this was the ad agency which handled Coke).
Each side is identical, and has 4 banded cuts of different lengths. The 1st cut has an announcer identifying Roy before he sings the jingle, and is 90 seconds long. The next 3 cuts are 60 seconds, 30 seconds and 10 seconds, with various length of this great song sung by Roy, in his typical style (he must have written the song), about drinking Coke!
A must for your Roy Orbison collection!!
Vinyl is Mint Minus.
No cover, as issued. Housed in plain white LP sleeve, and in a heavy stock black LP holder.

The cover is VG+. Top right corner is clipped, and has small wear. Ring wear on front cover. The back cover has light stain at lower left.
