Description
TITLE/INFO: OK, I'll be listing more old and rare 45's these next few days and weeks, as well as more rare EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. This early and rare 45 and picture sleeve combo is by the classic '50's-'60's singer/songwriter, Roy Orbison, from 1962. The double sided hit single is entitled "Leah/Workin' For The Man", and is in super nice shape - both the vinyl and the rare and collectible picture sleeve, but please read on, see the pictures above, and judge everything for yourself. FYI, I now intend to list all my Roy Orbison 45's/PS's this week - so please check in this next week or so if this classic '50's-'60's artist is of interest to you - thank you. LABEL INFO: This original, Monument Label (45-467) is basically clean and nice, although there is some really light ring wear on one side only. But otherwise, I don't even see anything that indicates very much actual play at all. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice - and again, I don't see any real flaws at all either. PICTURE SLEEVE: The rather plain looking (I'm sure that's what makes it so collectible), two sided picture sleeve is in great shape and nearly perfect - with an easily removable price tag on one side only. Also, there are just a few small and light crease lines in just a couple of places, but nothing serious, believe me (again, see the pictures above). INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this collectible record and the picture sleeve are both very clean and nice, so please have at it. As always, I have begun the auction at a very low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $18.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $3.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
