Description

Up for auction is a super rare copy of the Roy Porter Sound Machine '94 album "Generation" originally released in the U.S. on Vistone Records (VIS 658) in 1994.

Note: I received this album directly from the owner of Vistone records over 20 years ago.  It is a guaranteed original.  Original copies of this record rarely come up for sale, so don't miss out on this jazz-funk classic.

Condition:
The cover is in nice condition with light signs of wear and age.  No ring wear front or back.  Front is generally nice and white, though there is some faint age discoloration along the edges, which is common for these matte finished paper covers.  Faint moisture stain upper left corner.  Seams are nice, intact, no splits.  Back is clean, unmarked, though it also shows some slight age.  Overall, still a very attractive, original cover.  Grade: a strong Very Good Plus (VG+).

The vinyl is also in nice condition, still retains its original glossy shine as you can see from the photos.  No serious scratches, but Side Two shows some light, superficial hairlines and marks that do NOT affect the quality of the playback.  Labels are clean, unmarked.

Play-Tested: The sound quality is excellent, no significant issues.  These Vistone pressings aren't audiophile perfect, but they are pressed on heavy vinyl, and the sound is very clear. 
Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).
