Description
“Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden under the direction of Ernest Ansermet”
Shaded dog, RCA Victor High Fidelity. 33 1/3 Long Play.
See images for all items included. Booklet is fine. Leather-spine case is very good, with wear at bottom, but not separating. Original album sleeves.
The LPs have condition issues, as per below here.
I test played all on an audiophile Revox linear tracking turn-table with an 8-month old replacement cartridge & needle. (I do not rely on visual inspections.) Some visible superficial flaws are not audible. But others are.
All surfaces are very clean visually and very quiet. Seems as if these lps were not played often, but sometimes not treated carefully (if that makes any sense.)
Please take note of condition issues if you intend to bid. Glad to answer questions, but I can’t supply any more info regarding audible flaws than I have here.
Summary: these lps play better than they look! (With the exception of LP #3.)
Being sold for “parts.” Use what you can. NO returns on this item. (NOT my usual way of selling. Sorry.)
See my other classical music offerings, including vinyl.
