Description
This is part of a big auction of 45's from several independent 1950's LA-area labels that I'm running this week. I apologize if you were looking for the Rockabilly auction. Due to some upcoming travel and time restraints, I've had to change the order of the auctions. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Duke Records and a Chess/Checker/Excello auction later in October.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Little Clydie & the Teens - Oh Me / A Casual Look
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1956
Notes: The first released recording by Clydie King and her only as Little Clydie. King would go on the be a very successful session singer in the 60's/70's. It's unusual to hear a female voice on a straight doo-wop track, but both of these are pretty good. Very worth hearing and a pretty hard to find record.
Vinyl Condition: VG/VG+, vinyl is in nice shape. Oh Me side has some light hazing, Casual side is super-clean. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Again, the Oh Me side label has some minor wear including some discoloration, I think due to liquid exposure. The Casual side is really nice though. This one is somewhere right between VG/VG+.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
