Wow! Yet another insane release from the Drumetrics collective. This time featuring multi-instrumentalist MSK aka Marcus Seiji Klaus and funky drummer - producer - engineer and graphic artist, Richard Santino Isabella :) An experimental 6 track EP out of San Diego California. Haunting and underground sounding with next level drum skills, strung-out fuzz and avantgarde Sun Ra style electronics, all inspired by Italian Library and west coast psychedelia. Contemporary moods intended as musical backdrops to visual art happenings. Recorded using vintage analog equipment and techniques. Our mp3 soundclip opens with "Rings Of Saturn" followed by the rest of this amazing EP ;) Trax like "Tech Fuzz" has filtered female vocals a la early Broadcast - Portishead - Grace Slick Jefferson Airplane (maybe by an uncredited NCP aka Natalie Clarice Peckham but we're not sure). Turkish Anatolian rock pre Sven Wunder vibe to the funky "Road To Instanbul" etc. Oh, and that "Timespace" is just beautiful too. Impressive musicianship, incredible drum patterns. Great for leftfield DJs. Will appeal to fans of Andy Votel Finders Keepers - Sean Canty Demdike Stare - GLK Gaslamp Killer et al. Disc cut loud with big production sound. Die cut custom sleeve - black card inner with graphic art photography, original transparent plastic outer sleeve and the original paper download soundcard with optical graphic design to one side, all included and intact. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
RECORD - shiny, closer to M- regardless of a few faint hairlines and one tiny spidery squiggle scuff between trax 2 and 3 of sideA / a couple of other faint pressing blemishes / disc cut loud with big production sound / natural light background noises and a few soft ticks or soft pops in places
SLEEVE - original soft card die cut sleeve with debossed Drumetrics logo on back is M- with minimal light wear (just a couple of mini creases) / sharp looking / original black card inner with graphic art photography, original paper download soundcard with optical graphic design to one side and original transparent plastic sleeve, all intact and included
LABEL - minimal wear to part of outer edge of sideB (most probably from the original pressing process) / a few finger blemishes from touching
After a 2 year gap, Pourquoi Moi Vintage is back :)

Mp3 created via a Vestax portable with protective slipmat and basic Audacity software but records always sound much better on a proper hi-fi system ;)
