One of the harder numbers in the blue Stax series to find, here's a stunning 1967 UK first issue copy of this nice pairing from RUBY JOHNSON with "IF I EVER NEEDED LOVE (I SURE DO NEED IT NOW)" on the UK STAX imprint # 601 020 and backed with "KEEP ON KEEPING ON".
This copy plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in mint minus condition with the lightest of surface sleeve rubs not affecting play and with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out groove. It has the 3-prong centre intact and the labels are very clean on both sides with light spindle wear. Paired with a plain white paper sleeve making this a top copy for the DJ or to grace any collection. (see picture scans).
