I have been a record collector since I was very young, collecting every genre that caught my fancy, a few years ago, I sold some of my records to pay for a year's travelling, and this was very successful. Alas having to part with DOGFEET and a few other gems was difficult, but it covered a lot of time spent travelling! Now I have bought a house, and therefore owe rather a lot of money, and as such, I'm going to turn much more of my extensive collection into bricks and mortar! That'snot to say I've stopped collecting in future, but I feel if any cause is worthy of parting with my beloved collection, it might as well be this. My collection revolves around alot of 1960s rare records, with some extremely rare BEATLES and FREAKBEAT, also some incredibly rare SKA and NORTHERN SOUL, and extends out into PROG ROCK GEMS, PUNK, MOD, JAZZ. All of which are in the very best condition I have been able to find them (many I have multiples of from upgrading and then never getting around to sell on the lesser copy), so if that sounds at all interesting to you, over the next few months/years, please watch this space and add me to your followed sellers, if you haven't already!

Here is A RARE RUBY RED VINYL VERSION (sorry the photomakes it look more like purple!) of the first 7" released on the UK TWO TONE label, a split 7" and taking up the first 2 numbers of their catalogue, TT1 and TT2! TT1 is GANGSTERS by THE SPECIAL A.K.A. (SPECIALS), and TT2 is THE SELECTER by, wait for it... THE SELECTER. Both really great tracks, this isn't the hardest paper label TWO TONE 7" to get hold of due to its popularity at the time, however, this is one of the very rare copies that when held up to strong light is translucent RUBY RED vinyl! These are very early copies with the "PORKY" deadwax denotation. (the smear aross the scans does not appear on the record- just my mistake when scanning!) It's rare to find a RUBY copy of this anyway, but usually they are not nearly as nice as this!
DEADWAX INFO:
A: TT 1 4 A PORKY PRIME CUT
9 o'clock "T" 3 o'clock "3"
B: TT 2-4 A PORKY PRIME CUT
9 o'clock "AE" 3 o'clock "12"
Condition:
Record: VG+, really nice playing surfaces, shows some light hairlines(from withdrawl from the sleeve) when angled correctly into strong direct light, and a couple of slightly more visible marks, plays really nicely! A respectable copy of this rare record.
Labels: EX-, also very nice! barely any impefections.
Sleeve: - EX-, very hard to find thesein this condition! no stains/wear-throughs/rips etc. Very Nice!
