DESCRIPTION

Rudolf Friml / The Friml Orchestra - “Friml Presents Friml Indian Love Call” Westminster Records WST15008 (Stereo) from 1959. Hard to find Vinyl Classical Pop / Easy Listening album. Confusingly titled several different ways on the Cover, Spine and Labels as either “Friml Presents Friml”, “Indian Love Call”, “Friml: Indian Love Call; Donkey Serenad; Rose-Marie And Other Friml Favorites”. Contains nice versions of most of Frimls Light Classical and Operetta Hits on a Deep Groove Pressing but the main draw is the great Cheesecake Cover Photo of Carol Lynley famous for her roles in “Under The Yum-Yum Tree”, “Bunny Lake Is Missing”, “The Poseidon Adventure” and the TV Movie Pilots for “Kolchak: The Night Stalker” and “Fantasy Island”!

CONDITION

The Cover is in nice shape. There is some light corner softening and very slight edge wear. There is a “Not For Sale” promo stamp on the back. The Glossy Laminated Cover Slick has a couple little nicks on the left edge and some very slight shelf wear but is otherwise great. Super solid with no writing, splits, stains, tears, cutouts, etc. and would rate at least VG+ and I think EX. The Vinyl is in Glossy condition. The A-side has a few scuffs and light hairlines. None affect play beyond occasional light groove noise - might just need a better cleaning than my Discwasher brush provides. The B-side has more scuffs and hairlines. Plays well with some light groove noise and the occasional soft tic which repeat briefly in a couple spots. At least a good VG and I think overall VG+ . The Labels show some light spindle trails but are otherwise Near Mint.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
