Up for this auction is the ultra rare "RE-CREATION OF THE GODS" record album by RUFUS HARLEY on his own private ANKH-LABEL, recorded back in 1972

NEEDLESS to say that this is one of the most legendary albums of JAZZ FUNK of all times: this early 70´s independent release is a real mind blower, and it is so darn tough to find, particularly in this great shape!

I had to list this scarce one with a reasonable reserve - collectors will understand!

Pls note: this is NOT the current reissue, this is the REAL DEAL!!!

___RUFUS HARLEY: electric soprano sax, sermonette, bagpipes

___BILL MASON: organ

___LARRY LANGSTON: percussions

___LARRY RANDOLPH: electric bass

Including: "NOBODY KNOWS THE TROUBLE US PEOPLE IS DONE SEEN", "HYPOTHESIS", "MALIKA" - a terrific mixture of heavy hitting organ funk and modal jazz led by saxophone and organ!

JACKET: front clean, back some notifications at the track-listing and previous owner name´s written at upper left corner, upper seam clearly taped, otherwise spine and seams solid, slight discolouration due to age >> VG+/EX (due to flaws as advertized)

VINYL: wax has full lustre and shines bright, it has a very few "brush-type"-sleeve marks from gliding the record in and out, record looks as barely played >> a strong NM (close to M: playgraded!!)

***MONSTROUS SOUND THAT´S UNLIKE ANYTHING YOU HAVE HEARD BEFORE!!
