RUN-D.M.C. – Raising Hell (1986)
Original US First Pressing | Profile Records – PRO-1217
💎 FACTORY SEALED ARCHIVE COPY WITH ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER 💎
Up for auction is an absolute grail for serious hip-hop preservationists and high-end vinyl collectors: a pristine, Factory Sealed true 1986 US First Pressing of Run-D.M.C.’s multi-platinum masterpiece, Raising Hell. Shop This isn't a modern heavyweight reissue or a later club edition—this is the real deal, exactly as it sat on a retail shelf 40 years ago when Rick Rubin and Russell Simmons changed the landscape of music forever. eBay Collector-Grade Highlights:-
Original 1986 Hype Sticker: The iconic black and orange "MY ADIDAS / WALK THIS WAY AND IT'S TRICKY - BUY THIS RECORD OR ELSE..." sticker is beautifully preserved on the front shrink wrap.
-
Unopened & Unplayed: The factory shrink wrap is tight and completely intact around all four corners, meaning the vinyl inside has never touched a stylus and remains in untouched, absolute Mint condition.
-
Historical Provenance: Features a vintage retail price tag beneath the hype sticker and the original Profile Records distributor inventory barcode label on the lower corner of the back cover, adding a beautiful layer of authentic era-specific charm.
As collectors ourselves, we believe in absolute transparency. We grade strictly to help protect your investment:
-
Shrink Wrap: 100% complete with zero splits, tearing, or blowouts.
-
Jacket: Exceptionally crisp colors and beautiful gloss beneath the wrap. There is some minor, localized shelf pressure/wear to the corners and edges under the tight shrink wrap, which is completely standard for a vintage album of this age.
-
Stickers: The main hype sticker shows a minuscule nick/peel along its top edge. The rear distributor barcode sticker shows a tiny curl/peel on its bottom-left corner.
This is a premium, investment-grade copy of a legendary title that rarely surfaces in this untouched state. Please see the high-resolution photos for a closer look at the exact item you will receive.
Shipping & Returns Policy
Professional Packaging
-
Secure Handling: Your record will be shipped in a dedicated, heavy-duty cardboard mailer (LP or 45 specific) with extra cardboard stiffeners to prevent bending or crushing.
-
Pro-Tip Protection: To prevent seam splits during transit, all opened records are shipped with the vinyl removed from the jacket (housed in its inner sleeve) and placed behind the jacket within a 4mil clear poly outer sleeve. (Note: This premium archival title will be shipped fully sealed inside its factory wrap to preserve its status unless otherwise requested).
-
45s: 7" records are shipped with the same level of care in dedicated 7-inch mailers.
Fast & Tracked Shipping
-
Handling Time: I ship within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment.
-
Tracking: A tracking number will be provided immediately upon shipment.
-
Combined Shipping: I am happy to combine shipping. Please wait for a revised invoice before paying to receive the discounted rate.
Returns & Satisfaction
-
The "Collector’s Guarantee": I use strict Goldmine Grading standards. If you feel the record does not match the description or grading, please contact me directly before leaving feedback. I am a collector first and I value your satisfaction.
-
30-Day Returns: I accept returns within 30 days. The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was received.
-
🚨 CONDITION POLICY: For opened records, returns are accepted if the item is returned in the same condition as sent. Any new scratches, sleeve scuffs, or damage to the jacket incurred while in the buyer's possession will void the full refund. (Note: For this factory-sealed item, opening the factory shrink wrap alters the item's condition and commercial value, which will void a full return).
-
Shipping Costs: Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless there was a significant error in the listing.
