Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

THE VINYLS   MINT-   INCREDIBLE 'ONE PLAY' CONDITION THROUGHOUT

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st UK pressing set..it is very hard to find a decent copy of this anywhere, most sleeves are always torn and feathered and the vinyls often trashed..Also noted for the centre labels having 'ARCHIVES' printed on them before the album title, and the unique catalogue nunmbers, so this set cannot be mixed and matched!

The whole set of vinyls has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish throughout There is no dulling anywhere on any vinyl and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP set of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

There are a few tiny light whisp lines, a couple of very feint hairlines, nothing of which penetrates the vinyla nd certainyl nothing to worry over.. and nothing else visible at all on this vinyl set!  Quite astonishing- Clearly this LP collection has been archived for many many years.

No spindle skate around the centre hole again suggests they have each had maybe had one, it shows no signs of any wear at all.

Some surplus wax around the centre holes on the vinyls.

 Not much to add here, other than this LP set is simply pristine, and you will never see better..

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE SLEEVE     EX+ STRONG WIDE SPINE GATEFOLD EDITION

Correct FLAT MATT  Gatefold first issued earliest sleeve by 'Garrod & Lofthouse' - SUPER WIDE SPINE VERSION

The edges are all super clean with only a couple of  traces of rub, and the tips also have only some very light rub on the bottom opene edges, all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition- The finish is immaculate and where as many copies have powdery wear and scuff, this sleeve remains in super clean condition.

No powdery white ringwear - and only some light ring press on the front & back faces.

There are a few light spider lines over the edges and the spine edge, and also a few light hairlin 'presses' on the bottom edge of both faces arcing around the bottom of the sleeve..

The spine edge is totally unmarked and all legends are perfect-there are no spots or signs of any wear at all -only one tiny spider pinch line near the bottom.

The gatefold open out is perfect..beautiful creamy white ink and no wear, rub or marks at all.
