For the Record...

Rush-s/t, Moon Records, MN 100, 1974.

Rare original first LP Moon Records issue (Made In Canada, cream coloured label with a blue logo and black type) of Rush's debut long player featuring Alex Lifeson (guitar and vocals), John Rutsey (drums and vocals), and Geddy Lee (lead vocals and bass). "For best results play at maximum volume," informs the credits on the back jacket. This issue features the original mix, later re-mixed for the 2nd Anthem/Mercury pressings of Rush. Only 3,500 were ever pressed on Moon Records (set up by the band and their management). Needless to say, this is a very tough LP to catch these days. This is a loved, but great copy!

Cover: VG+(+) (strong, some ring and general wear, odd small tear on bottom spine/small wrinkle on bottom corner, still extremely presentable)

Vinyl: VG++ (odd spindle mark and small bump/indentation on label, odd surface mark, plays with odd bit of light surface noise in places, nothing offensive, music really shines through loud and proud!)
